Create a PDF File from PostScript
Once you have a PostScript file ready, you are able to convert the file to PDF. Start the Adobe Acrobat Distiller application.
You can download our Alaska Litho Job Option file, and select this as the Job Option in Distiller.
You can also set the Distiller Job Options manually:
- Choose File > Open, and use the browser to select your PostScript file to be converted to PDF format and click Open.
- Next, enter a name and location for the PDF file and click Save.
- Acrobat Distiller will now process your PostScript file to generate the PDF.
Once your PDF files are created, you can easily view them on any Windows, Macintosh or UNIX platforms with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is available as a free download from Adobe.
