Prepress
Our prepress department’s primary focus is file preparation, proofing, and digital printing. We provide all related service to complement and satisfy customer needs including design, layout, scanning and troubleshooting of files. Alaska Litho also provides educational service in applications and technical support to assist designers and publication specialists in graphics and desktop publishing. Prepress is about assisting customers in quickly moving their jobs to the press room. Alaska Litho has the equipment and people to make that happen.

File Preparation Information
We accept files on digital media, through email, or file upload with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, Firefox, or Safari.
Be sure to:
- Include all graphics, images and fonts
- Send Images that are 300 dpi, CMYK tiff files
- Include a hard copy with your digital files.
Where color is critical, a color proof from you is important to achieve accurate results. For general layout and black and white or spot colors, a copy or fax may suffice.
We strongly recommend that you read these guidelines for file preparation to ensure that your final printed material is the best it can be.
